Blank Books, Fake Papers

This article compares the works of Mexican writers Josefina Vicens and Valeria Luiselli, trying to establish common grounds without forgetting their natural and meaningful differences. These authors explore and seek new forms of expression and resolve their search for identity in different ways. While Vicens' characters are unsuccessfully struggling to acquire definite features, Luiselli seems to accept and perhaps yearn the diverse facade offered by literature.
